Standard replacement starter motor for various 125 – 150cc Piaggio / Aprilia models using the Piaggio Leader engine. Starter motors like any brushed motor eventually wear out internally. The brushes wear down over time, causing loss of contact with the commutator, and the motor no longer works. As brush kits are generally not available any longer, the only method of repair is replacement – which is pretty straight forward, bolt on and off you go!
