This content blackbird is made from embossed copper foil coated with Indian ink, he sits proudly atop a nest of copper and brass wire with beads woven through it. A silver dragonfly is whizzing around his head and sitting snugly inside is a hand-painted and hand-modelled egg. The leaves are treated with a patina to create the verdigris. The assemblage is mounted and signed on acid free off white card in a cream contemporary style open grain wooden box frame, 230mm x 280mm.
