My Summer Wreath is mounted on a steel ring 175mm diameter, bound in calico strips with Birch twigs sewn on. It is decorated with embossed and soldered verdigris copper leaves, frosted lucite flowers and decorative charms. Perched among the branches is a pretty copper bird and chick with wings fashioned from a old china fragment, to finish things off are two vintage porcelain flowers gilded with gold leaf.
